The Tallboy is Santa Cruz's do-it-all 29er for riders who want to climb efficiently and still send it when the trail points down. SRAM GX Eagle AXS T-Type wireless drivetrain shifts crisp under load with a 10-52t cassette for any climb you can find. RockShox Deluxe Select+ shock handles the rear suspension duties. SRAM Motive Bronze brakes with a 200mm front HS2 rotor give you the stopping power to match the speed. Reserve 30 SL AL rims laced to DT Swiss 370 hubs roll on Maxxis Forekaster 2.4 tires in MaxxTerra EXO casing, a fast-rolling combo with enough grip for mixed conditions. OneUp carbon bars, Enduro stem, and dropper post round out a cockpit that needs nothing on day one.

Beyond the spec sheet, the Tallboy frame is built to live with. The Glovebox downtube storage swallows tubes, tools, and snacks so you can leave the pack at home. UDH derailleur hanger, 73mm threaded BB, integrated chainguide, and one bottle mount inside the front triangle.
